THREE TO WATCH

Cesar Valdez, SP

Valdez was named the Diamondbacks’ 2008 Minor League Pitcher of the Year. He went 13-8 with a 3.14 ERA and 140 strikeouts between Visalia and Mobile last year.

Josh Whitesell, 1B

Whitesell is the reigning Pacific Coast League Rookie of the Year. He batted .328 with 26 home runs and 110 RBI for Triple-A Tucson last season.

Gotay played 88 games for the Atlanta Braves last season

Notables: Carson High graduate Matt Williams played for the Diamondbacks from 1998 to 2003.

He is also a part owner of the club and occasionally serves as a color commentator on Diamondbacks radio and television broadcasts.

Douglas High graduate Shawn Estes pitched for the Diamondbacks in 2005, where he went 7-8 with a 4.80 ERA.

Autographs

Guests may request autographs from the players from the time gates open until 15 minutes prior to game time from the outfield side of either dugout; however, consideration should be given to guests possessing tickets for these areas.

Kids Zone

The kids area, located adjacent to the Berm seating in the centerfield corner, is available for guests 12 and under. Playground equipment and climb toys are available.

What can’t I bring?

Alcoholic beverages or non-alcohol beer; Illegal drugs; Food items; Glass bottles or cans; Ice chests or hard-sided coolers; Camera tri-pods; Sticks or clubs (including signs attached to sticks); Fireworks; Bullhorns or other noisemakers; Confetti; Animals (except certified services dogs); Beach balls or other inflatable; Bicycles; Skateboards or roller blades; Squirt guns or super soakers; Laser pointers; Weapons of any kind.

Batting Practice

Ballpark Gates open one hour before game time allowing guests to view infield practice for both teams. Unfortunately, Aces batting practice occurs over three hours before the game, well before gates open.

Access Routes

Guests with tickets for sections 101-107, including Left Field Party Deck, should use the Rotunda Entrance Gate. For access to sections 108-120, Suites and Berm Seating, guests should use the Home Plate Entrance (restricted to disabled guests, suite holders, or club seating).

PARKING

The Reno Aces do not have a dedicated parking structure for the Ballpark. Guests are encouraged to arrive early and park in any of the various downtown area lots that are within walking distance of the ballpark.
