Sugar Bowl to host Sierra Avalanche Center’s Backcountry Ball

This year's presenter, Kevin Quinn from Points North Heli-Adventures, will present a slide show of images and stories to help educate winter enthusiasts before their next adventure.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with dinner following at 7 p.m. and the event at 8 p.m. Cost is $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

Dinner is included in the price of admission, as well as a cash bar, music and silent auction. The auction will raise money for the Sierra Avalanche Center to support Know Before You Go youth avalanche education and expanded center operations.
