Staff reports

The Truckee High boys basketball team fell to 2-5 in Northern 3A league play and 6-8 overall with a 61-55 loss at Incline (2-5, 3-7) Wednesday.

Sophomore Ryan Roberts led the Wolverines in scoring with 19 points. Cody Wicks pulled down eight rebounds and Pat Galvin six, and big man Cory Hoehn ” who is recovering from an illness, his coach said ” contributed nine points.

After falling behind 17-5 in the first quarter, the Wolverines played their way back into the game and finished the half with a 28-26 lead. While the contest remained close throughout the third quarter, Incline knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers in the fourth to pull away, Crawford said.
