Young runners qualify for junior national championships

Four Truckee middle school student-athletes, Carrie Bradley, Claire Lang-Ree, Dylan Thomas and Jordy Guldman, qualified to race in the USA Track & Field (USATF) National Junior Olympic Cross-Country Championships in Albuquerque, N.M., this weekend.In order to qualify, they placed in both of the USATF Pacific Region championship races at Folsom High School.The Pacific Region includes runners from California’s Mono, Fresno, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Kings, and Santa Barbara counties, and from Nevada’s Humboldt, Washoe, Pershing, Churchill, Storey, Lyon, Mineral and Douglas counties.For information or to help support the runners – they are seeking uniforms and running shoes – call 530-582-0146 or email family@rtbradley.com.
