Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows receives 5 inches of snow overnight

Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows said Tuesday, Nov. 14, the resort received 5 inches of fresh powder overnight.

Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows said Tuesday, Nov. 14, the resort received 5 inches of snow overnight.

And with more snow in the forecast later this week, the resort is getting ready for opening day on Friday, Nov. 17.

Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows receives, on average, 450 inches of snow per year.
