Squaw Valley Public Utility District board elects 2010 officers

OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. and#8212; The Squaw Valley Public Utility District Board recently re-elected Dale Cox as board president for 2010.

Cox has served on the districtand#8217;s board of directors since 1985 and also serves as the districtand#8217;s representative on the Tahoe-Truckee Sanitation Agencyand#8217;s Board of Directors, according to a press release.

Eric Poulsen was also re-elected as vice president for 2010; he was appointed to a vacant position on the board in 1980 and served until 1985. Poulsen returned to the board in 1987 and has served continuously since that time.

The board of directors voted also unanimously at its November meeting to participate in the Speak Your Peace Civility Project, adding to the more than 1,000 signatories on the Truckee Tahoe Community Foundationand#8217;s campaign.
