SOUTH LAKE TAHOE ” It won’t be quite as windy today as over the weekend, but nevertheless it will still be rather breezy.

Sunny skies will return today and after a cool start, temperatures will warm nicely into the upper 70s to lower 80s with mid 80s out in Markleeville and Woodfords.

Winds will pick up again today from the southwest in the 15 to 25 mph range with some gusts as high as 30 or 35 mph. Extremely dry conditions persist and another Red Flag Warning may be issued again. Check http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/reno for the latest information.

Clear skies tonight and light winds will allow temperatures to cool once again, down into the 40s with lower 50s along the east shore and Kingsbury Grade areas.

Conditions look to remain dry for the foreseeable future which if the current dry pattern persists, could go down as one of the driest summers on record for the Tahoe Basin.
