Tahoe Adventure Film Festival set for Saturday
The Tahoe Adventure Film Festival is different than any other film festival in the world.
This is no stuffy film festival. This fun high-energy festival will fuel your passion for action, and ignite your senses for adventure. Organizers highlight the best adventure sports films of the year.
Most of the films are edited for this festival’s fast pace format. The main event for the Tahoe Adventure Film Festival is at MontBleu Showroom.
The festival is exciting and entertaining both on and off the screen. When it comes to off screen there will be a bevy of guest speakers, action photo displays, break-dancers, DJs, and a few surprises.
On the screen you viewers will be treated to the very best action/adventure films of the year.
Organizers narrow film submissions to the top 10. Most from different sports. Then 10-12 minute clips or segments are premiered from the top adventure sports films of the year.
There are raffles for season ski passes and lots of adventure tools. The filmmakers are featured on Resorts Sports Network TV in a segment called “RSN’s Feature Flick” with filmmaker profiles.
A full western states tour of the Tahoe Adventure Film Festival is being scheduled again this year. All films are available for purchase in their full format from the filmmakers. Support these talented directors and the Tahoe Adventure Film Festival by buying their films in their entirety.

Performance: 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
An adventure photography show from Aurora Photos will fill the big screen as soon as the doors open. Photos from around the globe from the top photographers in the action and adventure sports world.
DJ Red Dawn and b-boy break-dancers will be on stage to get the crowd warmed up. The Red Hot Go-Go Dancers will heat the room from their dance pedestals and have the crowd sweating before the films even start.
Main Event: 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The top adventure sport films from around the world will present at the Best of the 2007 Tahoe Adventure Film Festival. This year’s film selection includes skiing, BASE-jumping, deep water soloing, downhill mt. biking, rock climbing, kayaking, surfing and a few surprise sports.
After party at 10 p.m:.Hosted by Todd Offenbacher, the After Party will directly following the 2007 Tahoe Adventure Film Festival main event, film attendees are invited to party with friends, athletes, and the film makers at Blu.
Festival attendees with their TAFF ticket stubs will be admitted to the party at no charge.
