Tahoe City PUD schedules candidate orientation session

TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; Candidates for the Tahoe City Public Utility District Board of Directors are invited to an orientation session on Tuesday, Sept. 11, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the TCPUD Board Room. In this meeting, TCPUD staff will share an overview of the districtand#8217;s organization, operations and budget. The orientation is open to the public to attend and observe.

TCPUD is governed by a five-person elected Board of Directors; these directors determine the policies and set the agenda for the District. Seats 3, 4 and 5 are up for election this November, and each seat is for a 4-year term.

and#8220;We are pleased to offer this orientation to give the candidates and members of the public a better understanding of the Districtand#8217;s role in the community and the services we provide,and#8221; said Kelli Twomey, director of resource development and Community Relations for the TCPUD.
