Tahoe City PUD seeks proposals for golf course operations
TAHOE CITY, Calif. andamp;#8212; The Tahoe City Public Utility District is currently in escrow to purchase the Tahoe City Golf Course. While the district continues to work with other agencies and organizations to review terms, conditions and financing options, the PUDandamp;#8217;s board recently directed staff to seek proposals from qualified companies and individuals in the region to potentially operate the facility should the acquisition move forward.Interested parties should contact Bob Bolton, director of Parks and Recreation, at bbolton@tcpud.org or 530-583-3796, ext. 22. Proposals are due 10 a.m., Feb. 3, 2012.

Nevada County has 3,394 total COVID-19 cases
The total number of coronavirus cases in Nevada County reached 3,394 on Tuesday, a rise of 39 from the day before.
