Tahoe Donner roadwork planned

Contractors will begin work this week on Tahoe Donner roads, including shoulder repairs, slurry sealing and restriping. Some parts of the project are expected to last through Sept. 24.

Today, contractors are expected to place a slurry seal on Oslo from Julian to Hansel and on Mougle from Kidd to Mougle. Pathway from Greenleaf to Prusshing will also be resurfaced. Workers will place slurry seal on all of Bennett Flat, Tundra and Kitzbuhl.

In the next week, contractors will place slurry seal on the following streets:

Friday, Sept. 4

Mougle from Kidd to Basel; Mougle from Munich to Sitzmark; Bernard to the dead end; all of Brookstone, Greenleaf, and Roundhill.

Tuesday, Sept. 8

Muhlebach from Landeau to Roundhill; Hillside from Gyrfalcon to Staghorn; all of Bavarian, Munich, Nordic, Chamonix, Winter and Julian.

Wednesday, Sept. 9

Muhlebach from Roundhill to Muhlebach; Hillside from Staghorn to Solvang; Skyview from Snowpeak to Glacierview; all of Staghorn and Wolfgang.

Thursday, Sept. 10

Skyview from Snowpeak to Glacierview; all of Glacier Way, Snowpeak, Alder Creek, Andermatt, Parsenn, Norse and Chapell.

Friday, Sept. 11

Copenhagen from Skislope to Herringbone; Bernese from Davos to Bernese; all of Cristillina Way, Teton, Innsbruck, Skislope and Bermgarten.

Saturday, Sept. 12

Bernese from Bernese to Bern; Copenhagen from Herringbone to Skislope; Davos from Northwoods to Innsbruck; all of Bern, Bolzano and Swiss.

Sunday, Sept. 13

Davos from Innsbruck to Northwoods.

There will be intermittent road closures during construction, which will continue through Sept. 24.
