Tahoe Forest launches TV show about local health care

TRUCKEE, Calif. — Tahoe Forest Health System is pleased to present a new local television program, Mountain Health Today.

Produced by Tahoe Forest Health System, this new show focuses on health and health care in Truckee and Lake Tahoe.

“We felt there was a need to cover local health concerns and topics,” said Harry Weis, CEO of Tahoe Forest. “Mountain Health Today will address our community’s needs and concerns about health in our local community.”



Beginning in July, tune in to Tahoe Truckee Community Television, channel 6, for lively discussions about important and interesting health topics and the role of Tahoe Forest Health System in our community.

Mountain Health Today will cover topics like hospital pricing and cost, wellness, mental health, access to care, substance abuse and community partnerships.



The show airs on TTCTV channel 6 Wednesday at 6 p.m., Thursday at 10 a.m., Saturday at 10 a.m. and Sunday at 6 p.m.. The show can also be viewed on the Health System’s website, tfhd.com.
