Tahoe Prosperity Center names CEO

LAKE TAHOE and#8212; The Tahoe Prosperity Center last week announced the appointment of Moneand#8217; K. Haen to the new position of CEO.

The Tahoe Prosperity Center was formed in response to the Lake Tahoe Basin Prosperity Plan developed in 2010 and is the result of an unprecedented coalition of government, private and philanthropic stakeholders in the Tahoe Basin. The naming of a CEO is a major step in the TPCand#8217;s mission to promote regional sustainability through economic vitality, environmental stewardship and healthy communities in and around the Lake Tahoe Basin, according to a press release.

Haen comes to the Tahoe Prosperity Center after a fifteen-year career in the institutional real estate sector, most recently serving as chief financial officer for Invesco Real Estateand#8217;s $4 billion core, commingled real estate fund.



The first priority for Haen will be to launch a fundraising and awareness campaign to achieve the TPCand#8217;s mission. In order to kick off those efforts, Haen represented the Tahoe Prosperity Center at this yearand#8217;s Lake Tahoe Summit held on August 13 at Edgewood in South Lake Tahoe.

Prior to her six-year tenure with Invesco, Haen served as Director of Corporate Finance with the technology related REIT, Digital Realty Trust, and served various roles in acquisitions, capital markets and asset management for AMB Property Corporation (now Prologis). Haen received her B.S. in business management from the University of Utah. She resides in Truckee, California with her husband and daughter.
