Tahoe real estate: Tahoe Mountain Realty to host online auction for Grizzly Ranch
Starting Oct. 7, people looking to own a piece of “peace” in the Lost Sierra will have an opportunity to competitively bid on Grizzly Ranch homesites through an online auction planned and executed by Truckee-based Tahoe Mountain Realty.
“Online real estate auctions are no longer just desperate attempts to sell less desirable properties or foreclosed homes. We’re now seeing a national trend toward online auctions to sell properties and homesites that would be better served with additional online exposure,” noted Jeff Brown, owner and general manager, Tahoe Mountain Realty. “Grizzly Ranch has many qualities not found at other private mountain communities, and we want more people to know about them.”
In today’s high-tech web-based world, an online real estate auction is perfect for reaching more people. The process encompasses various social media and online elements making targeting prospective buyers more effective.
The visual elements of the online campaign bring the community and homesite offerings to those people who are too busy to physically tour the community or just want extensive information and quality visuals to learn about the community prior to touring it.
Grizzly Ranch’s online auction web page, GrizzlyRanchAuction.com houses images of the overall community and its amenities, a community map, an aerial virtual tour, and an individual page for each homesites that includes images, details and descriptions.
“Just like more and more people shop online to purchase a new car, boat and appliances, people are becoming more familiar and open to buying homes and homesites online,” noted Brown. “It’s all about convenience and creating enticing visuals to get people interested.”
For Grizzly Ranch, bidding begins online on Friday, Oct. 7, at 3 p.m. and extends through Oct. 17 at 3 p.m. (PST). View homesites and community online at http://www.GrizzlyRanchAuction.com. Opening bid will start at $20,000.
Grizzly Ranch appeals to buyers for many reasons. Foremost, for golf enthusiasts, the private gated community was designed and developed around the #1 ranked public accessible golf course in the Sierra Nevada (Golf Digest 2014).
This is a low-density community sitting on 1,040 acres with only 380 homesites with signature resort amenities.
