Tahoe Truckee school district to discuss "unlikely’ layoffs

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; With 22 potential layoffs to local educators announced last week, Tahoe Truckee Unified School District are looking to allay fears and answer questions at Wednesday’s board meeting, the public portion of which kicks off at 5:30 p.m. at the Sierra Mountain Community Education Center.

Superintendent Steve Jennings and the district have maintained since last week’s announcements the layoffs are very unlikely to occur.
