Tahoe-Truckee schools closed Monday
School administrators have decided to close school in Truckee and North Tahoe on Monday because of the heavy snow that fell over the weekend.
“Due to the large amount of snowfall this weekend, the decison was made to close schools based on safety concerns for students at bus stops and on the roadway,” the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District Web site announced.
The district has already exceeded their allotted snow days this year, and will have decided to add missed school days onto the end of the school year.
Check the district’s Web site at http://www.ttusd.org for more information.
