Tahoe-Truckee Unified and Tahoe-Donner Park and Rec district hold joint meeting

The Tahoe-Truckee Unified School District will hold a joint meeting with the Truckee-Donner Park and Recreation District in a special board meeting today at 6 p.m.

Action items on the agenda include:

– Approve block schedule at North Tahoe High School

– Approve resolution to declare an election be held in its jurisdiction; requesting the Board of Supervisors to consolidate this election with any other election conducted on said date; and requesting election services by the county clerk

– Approve resolution of Disable Veteran Business Enterprises Participation Goal

– Approve resolution to authorize year end budget transfers

– Approve resolution for sufficient textbooks and instructional materials consistent with the state adopted frameworks

– Pre-approve bid for NTHS/MS gym floor

Discussion items include:

– Budget development update

– Summary of recommendations from student discipline committee

– First reading of board policies and administrative regulations

– Priority committee recommendation with regards to expenditure of developer fees

The meeting will be held in the TTUSD district office board room in Truckee. For information, call 582-7600.

The July board meeting scheduled for July 6 has been canceled. A special board meeting has been scheduled for June 29 in the district board room.
