Tahoe Truckee Unified School District board budget workshop will not be online

June 24June 23, 2009, (Truckee, Calif.) and#8212; The Tahoe Truckee Unified School District (TTUSD) board budget workshop, scheduled to take place at Truckee Elementary School on Wednesday, June 24, will begin at 4 p.m., but will not be available online, according to Steve Jennings, TTUSD superintendent.

Typically, TTUSD board meetings are broadcast via Truckee Tahoe Community Television locally on Channel 6. However, for the Wednesday meeting, a shortage of personnel will prevent the meeting from streaming live on the internet. While it is usually based on availability of staffing, Jennings expects they will be back on schedule with video streaming after this week.

and#8220;Since some individuals may be planning to stay home and watch the budget meeting, we wanted to get the word out that this meeting wonand#8217;t be able to be accessed,and#8221; says Jennings. However, Jennings noted past meetings are archived on the site and may be viewed at any time at http://www.ttctv.org.

Interested parties, as always, are invited and encouraged to attend all board meetings and workshops. The agenda for Wednesdayand#8217;s meeting, as well as the list of scheduled meetings and other additional meetings and workshops may be found online at http://www.ttusd.org.
