Tahoe Women’s Services and Humane Society of Truckee Tahoe need help

‘Tis the season to give to our community and those less fortunate. Two local organizations that could really use our help right now are Tahoe Women’s Services and the Truckee Humane Society, both of which have been severely impacted by the current economic crisis.

Keller Williams Realty believes in giving back to our community and is having a cash raffle to raise money to help Tahoe Women’s Service and Truckee Humane Society continue their worthwhile services in aiding local friends in need, both two and four-legged.

The goal is to raise $5,000 by selling only 500 tickets. One half of all monies collected will go to the two charities, and the other half back as prize rewards. Three cash prizes will be awarded by a random drawing on Dec. 30, 2008. If all raffle tickets are sold, the lucky first place winner will receive $1,875. All winners will be notified by phone.

The $10 tickets may be purchased at any of the three Keller Williams offices in Truckee, Tahoe City or Tahoe Donner. Hurry, there will only be 500 sold, and they make great stocking stuffers.-

Office locations to get tickets:

Keller Williams Boice, Tahoe Donner Office, 11382 Northwoods Blvd., 587-3505

Keller Williams Intero, Down town Truckee, 660 Donner Pass Road, 582-6111
