Tickets available for Doug Ose, Tom McClintock debate Wednesday

Former Congressman Doug Ose and State Senator Tom McClintock, both candidates for the U.S. House, will hold their first debate on Wednesday evening in Rocklin.

The debate, sponsored by the Lincoln Club of Placer County, begins at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public although pre-registration and electronic tickets are required. The debate, which will include audience questions, is scheduled to end at 9 p.m.

Ose and McClintock are vying for the Republican nomination for the Fourth Congressional District seat that has been held by fellow Rep. John Doolittle since 1991.

The debate will be held at the Sunset Center, which is at 2650 Sunset Blvd. The building can hold as many as 750 people, according to organizers. For more information or to get an online ticket, go to
