Traffic delays on State Highway 267 during repaving
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting motorists that starting October 9, a contractor (Delta Construction) will be doing grinding and paving on State Highway 267 from one mile north of Truckee to Highlands View Drive near Northstar, and from north of National Avenue to Kings Beach. The work is necessary in order to repair numerous potholes.
The work will occur Tuesday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. One-way traffic control will be in effect during the grinding and paving operation with a pilot car escorting motorists through the work zone. Minor delays are anticipated.
Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the work area and to “Slow For the Cone Zone.”
