TRUCKEE and#8212; The Truckee woman arrested for allegedly burning her home and business has been charged with two counts of arson.

Dr. Erinn Tamney Randall, 38, was arrested in the first week of June for two fires and#8212; one at a home she owns in Glenshire, the other for her chiropractic office downtown. Another building in Loyalton that Randall had a business and a living space also burned that week.

and#8220;The charges are two counts of arson,and#8221; said Deputy District Attorney Bill Cornell. and#8220;There are also pending charges in Sierra County.and#8221;

In a previous interview, Truckee Police Lt. Randy Fenn said that it was evident both fires were arsons early in the investigation, which included Truckee Fire Protection District, CalFire, Truckee Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Cornell said Randall will be arraigned Monday morning.

Randall could be tried separately in Nevada and Sierra counties, all three counts could be tried in Nevada, or the case could be taken to the federal level, Cornell said.

and#8220;Because of the multiple county allegations over a relatively short period of time and the fact that it was a fire and#8212; fire is a very scary thing in this part of the state, the feds may take interest,and#8221; Cornell said.

Truckee Police Lt. Randy Fenn said many of the police departmentand#8217;s investigators got pulled away from the investigation into the April 30 homicide of Beverly Beatrice Williams by the arson.

The investigation into the blunt force trauma death of Williams, 77, in her Tahoe Donner home is still waiting on forensic evidence processing from the California Department of Justice as well, Fenn said.
