Truckee attorney appointed counsel of national ski organization

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The National Ski Areas Association recently appointed area attorney John Fagan as special counsel, meaning he will advise the organization on items such as risk management and legislative issues. The association represents 329 alpine resorts.

Fagan focuses his practice on serious and catastrophic injury cases against operators of resorts, ski areas and golf courses. He has represented a variety of sports product manufacturers.
Fagan also works closely with and is regularly engaged to speak before the California Ski Industry Association and the Water Sports Industry Association, according to the release.
Fagan, a partner with Duane Morris LLP, graduated from University of Michigan Law School in 1982. He works out of the firmand#8217;s Tahoe office, located in Truckee.
