Truckee Chamber hosts Business Expo

The Truckee Donner Chamber of Commerce will host the 16th Annual Business Expo andamp; Chamber Mixer Tuesday evening from 5:30 p.m. 8 p.m. at The Resort at Squaw Creek. Billed as The Ultimate Networking Experience the Business Expo, designed to be part trade show and part business social event, will showcase more than 80 different businesses. Every year the Business Expo becomes more popular, said Lynn Saunders, president/CEO of the Truckee Donner Chamber of Commerce. The energy and excitement of people networking, conducting business and having fun just fills the Grand Ballroom at the Resort at Squaw Creek.Attendees can visit a wide variety of booths including restaurant, catering, health services, insurance, media, cabinets, interior design, home repair, dude ranch, advertising agency, office supplies, employment services and more.The Resort at Squaw Creek will be offering a variety of food and drink to enjoy, as well as barbecue samplings from Drooling Dog Bar BQ, When Pigs Fly and pizza slices from Domino’s.There will be door prizes and free giveaways at the booths. Games including the Wheel of Fortune, dart game and even a money machine for prizes will provide a lively, festive environment. KTKE 101.5 FM will be broadcasting live from the venue, including on-air interview with exhibitors and attendees.Attendance is open to the public and admission is free.
