Truckee football defeats Sparks

The Truckee High football team defeated visiting Sparks 35-27 in the final league game of the season Saturday.

The win improved the Wolverines’ record to 5-0 in league and 8-1 overall and gave them sole possession of first place in the Northern 3A division. Truckee also gained home-field advantage for the first two rounds of playoffs.

Sparks fell to 4-1 in league and 6-2 overall.
