Mark Walker is a Certified Massage Therapist, working independently for the Unwind Salon located at 12315 Deerfield Dr. #8.

At 35 years old, he started doing massages officially as soon as he got his table in April of 2007. He’s been at it since age 6, cracking his dad’s back after a helicopter accident. With 15 years of informal experience, Walker then attended the National Holistic Institute to polish and professionalize his skills. Walker graduated with honors on July 3, 2008 and immediately quit his day job and went to work at the five-star resort, the Carneros Inn. However, something still didn’t fit.

Walker’s passion for skiing and the mountains was not satisfied. Sugar Bowl and Squaw called to him, and he relocated locally. His true goal is to be able to do what and where he loves.

Walker specializes in Swedish, shiatsu/sports, chair/corporate, and deep tissue styles of massage. He has rave reviews specific to the ability to mix modalities. What does Walker love most? To make people feel better and become aware of their posture.

Walker knows a successful business starts with the service or product. He puts himself in the client’s shoes, doing his best to accommodate their needs. Walker has real “feel good” deals and grand opening specials.
