Truckee not immune to soaring gasoline prices

With national gas prices averaging $1.06 per gallon, the bargains don’t seem to be reflected at the pumps here. As of yesterday, the cheapest gallon of low grade gas in Truckee was $1.42, while $1.69 was the most expensive. High grade topped out at $1.8

The world’s oil producers announced Tuesday they would raise gas prices as of April 1.

The following prices were recorded Wednedsay, March 24.
