Truckee Police arrest man, 25, on burglary, prowling charges

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Police arrested a Truckee Man on Nov. 1 after residents allegedly wrestled him out of their home.

Police received a 911 call at about 1 a.m. on Nov. 1 from the 15000 block of Glenshire Drive for a possible burglary, according to a press release. The residents told police an unknown male entered their home, and that they had pushed the subject out of their house.

Police located and arrested Mario Alberto Gonzalez, 25, on the 14000 block of Glenshire Drive, and he was allegedly identified by the residents who made the 911 call, according to the release.



Gonzalez allegedly lied about his identity, and items from the reporting partyand#8217;s car were allegedly found when he was taken to jail, according to the release.

He was booked for several felony and misdemeanor charges including burglary, prowling and giving false information to a police officer, and is being held without bail for alleged violation of probation terms, according to the release.
