June 10
At 9:25 a.m. on Highway 89 police responded to a a two-vehicle non-injury collision.

At 2:15 p.m. on Donner Lake Road, the owner of a business heard through some of their employees that another employee was growing and using marijuana for medicinal purposes.

At 8 p.m., unknown subjects vandalized a restroom located at a local park.

At 9:45 p.m. on Torrey Pine Road, a vehicle was stopped for weaving. It was determined the driver was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and booked into jail in Truckee.

At 11:15 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, a subject was allegedly intoxicated and unable to care for himself in public.

At 12:20 a.m. a subject was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence.

At 5 p.m. on Brockway Road, a Realtor reported a vandalism to a residence she has listed.

At 8:40 p.m. at Pioneer Trail, an officer responded to a loud party call. Upon arriving, several juveniles ran from the location. The responsible juvenile was located and found to allegedly be in violation of probation.

At 8:50 p.m. on Brockway Road, a vehicle was stopped for weaving within its lane. Investigation revealed the driver was in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. The driver was cited and released.

At 1 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, a subject was seen driving recklessly in a parking lot. The driver was contacted and cited.

At 2 p.m. on Palisades Drive, a report was filed when two juveniles entered a store. One juvenile appeared to distract the clerk, while the other juvenile appeared to be placing wine bottles in his backpack. Both juveniles fled the area on foot and were not located. Surveillance footage captured the event when it occurred.

At 2 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, a person was driving eastbound, just west of Meadow Way. She heard a loud bang and the left rear passenger door window of her vehicle exploded. Circumstances were consistent with the window being hit by a BB or pellet. A search of the vehicle interior did not find the projectile.

At 3:10 p.m. on Industrial Way, an anonymous caller reported someone had built a makeshift fort out of plywood located in a wooded area and several juveniles were loitering around it. Officers checked the area and located the fort. Inside the fort were four juveniles. One of the juveniles was found to be in possession of alcohol and marijuana and in violation of his probation. He was arrested and later released to his parent. The other three juveniles were released to their parents without any criminal charges.

At 11 p.m. on Pioneer Trail, a Truckee juvenile was cited for violating the terms of his probation.

At 8 a.m. on Highway 89, a subject reported his ex-wife failed to meet him at the designated meeting spot to pick up the children as required from a court order.
June 14
At 12:30 p.m. on Estates Drive, a person reported an unknown subject had removed a boom box stereo from his back deck approximately one month ago. The person noticed an individual walk towards his apartment. Once the individual noticed the tenant, he turned around and walked away. The tenant suspects it was the same subject who might have taken his boom box.

At 2:30 p.m. on Donnington Lane, a person reported he suspects his ex-girlfriend stole a vacuum cleaner from his residence. Both own the residence and are currently attempting to sell it.

At 11:30 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, three friends under the influence of alcohol allegedly got into a physical fight, which resulted in injuries to one of the combatants. Medical treatment was refused by all parties, and no prosecution was requested by anyone involved.

At 11:15 a.m. on Northwoods Boulevard, a report was made of a hit-and-run with property damage to a local fire engine.

At 3:15 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, a known subject ran naked through an all-girl cheerleading camp.

At 5:30 p.m. on Skislope Way, a landlord was going through his formerly-leased residence when he discovered three water pipes commonly used to smoke marijuana. The landlord requested the Truckee Police Department take possession of the pipes and destroy them.

At 8:20 p.m. on Levone Avenue, police responded to a vehicle that was struck in a parking lot.

At 6:30 a.m. on Denton Avenue, a theft of tools from an open garage was reported.

At 8 a.m. on Weisshorn Avenue, a vehicle was repossessed.

At 12:40 p.m. on Palisades Drive, a vehicle was stopped for driving with no lights to the rear of the vehicle after dark. The driver was obviously intoxicated and arrested for driving under the influence.

At 8:45 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, a person reported a gas station clerk and customer were acting strangely. No customer was found inside the store, but it was determined the clerk was heavily intoxicated. The clerk was arrested and booked into the Nevada County Jail in Truckee.
June 17
At 12:20 p.m. on Waters Way, a woman parked on the side of the road with her flashers on was contacted by officers. She was crying and visibly upset and told the officer she was just threatened and assaulted by her boyfriend. She followed the officer to the Nevada County Sheriff’s in Truckee. A report was filed and her boyfriend was subsequently contacted at his residence and arrested for felony assault, criminal threats, and a parole hold was placed on him.
