Truckee Police Department logs, week of Jan. 1-7

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Below are the latest reports from the Truckee Police Department.

At 3:40 a.m. on Stony Creek Road a person staying at a residence allegedly stole numerous items from other individuals staying at that residence. During the investigation the other individuals contacted the subject and recovered their property, and did not want to press charges.

At noon on Manchester Drive police contacted a juvenile at the parent’s request for a probation violation, and the juvenile allegedly admitted possession of a controlled substance, and was arrested.

At 2:50 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police responded to an alleged fight between husband and wife, and arrested the wife for domestic battery. Charges were also filed against the husband for violation of a restraining order.

At midnight on Donner Pass Road a business reported an intoxicated customer it feared might drive away. Police located the subject sitting in a vehicle and arrested the person for public intoxication.

At 12:30 a.m. on Martis Valley Road a parked vehicle was hit in a private parking lot. Police found the other driver who admitted to colliding with the parked vehicle.

At 6 p.m. on Donner Pass Road an unknown subject allegedly tried to gain access to a building through a basement access door. No damage was done.

At 10:30 p.m. in the downtown area police contacted and arrested a subject for public intoxication.

At 11:40 a.m. on Estates Drive a person reported a minor verbal altercation with an acquaintance, but did not want the other party contacted, only documented.

At 6 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a bicycle was left overnight in a business parking lot.

At 10:55 p.m. on Martis Valley Road a husband called 911 because of an argument with his wife.

At 1:25 a.m. on Waters Way Police responded to an ongoing child custody dispute between estranged parents. The female stated the male came to her residence and caused a disturbance in violation of a court order. The male subject stated he was at work during the time of harassment and provided documentation for proof.

At 12:50 a.m. on Henness Road police stopped a vehicle for code violations and arrested the driver for driving under the influence.

At 2:10 a.m. on Donner Pass Road a person who was allegedly refused service at a business allegedly became uncooperative. Police arrested the subject for being drunk in public.
