Truckee Police Department reports, week of April 7-14
TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The following are Truckee Police Department reports from the week of April 7 to April 14.
At 5 p.m. on Pioneer Trail police responded to a home burglary.
At 8:45 p.m. on Alder Drive police arrested a person for public intoxication.
At 12:25 a.m. on Greenwood Drive police responded to an alleged argument between husband and wife.
At 12:40 a.m. on Donner Pass Road police received reports of intoxicated subjects downtown. Upon arrival, officers found one of the subjects to allegedly be uncooperative and extremely intoxicated. Police arrested the subject.
At 1:30 a.m. on Northwoods Boulevard police found a vehicle smashed into a building. Shortly after the driver called 911 from his home and requested an ambulance. Police cited the driver for driving under the influence, and released him due to his injuries.
At 1:15 a.m. on Chamonix Road police responded to a verbal argument, after which a known subject allegedly pushed the other person down a flight of stairs.
At 9:10 a.m. on Highway 89 police received a report of a non-contact hit and run. The driver allegedly fled the scene and was not located.
At 10:45 a.m. on Old Highway Drive a report was filed regarding a domestic dispute between husband and wife. A firearm was allegedly turned into police during the investigation.
At 5:30 p.m. on Northwoods Boulevard police arrested a person for alleged public intoxication.
At 6:30 p.m. on Donner Pass Road an unknown person allegedly took a wallet from a locker.
At 9:45 p.m. on Brockway Road police stopped a vehicle for code violations and cited both passengers for alleged possession of marijuana.
At 1:40 a.m. on Brockway Road police arrested an allegedly intoxicated subject who was allegedly walking in the roadway.
At 11:40 a.m. on Snowpeak Way police contacted a person regarding his alleged involvement in a domestic violence investigation. He was then served an emergency protective order, restraining him from contacting the other party.
At 3:50 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police stopped a vehicle for code violations and cited the driver for allegedly driving without insurance and no valid drivers license.
At 5:15 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a person observed two children allegedly left alone in a vehicle. Police cited the parents.
At 9:25 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police stopped a vehicle for code violations and arrested the driver for allegedly driving under the influence.
At 12:15 a.m. on Brockway Road police stopped a vehicle for code violations and arrested the driver for allegedly driving under the influence.
At 12:30 p.m. on Donner Pass Road two students allegedly fought on school grounds.
At 8:45 a.m. on Northwoods Boulevard police responded to a single-vehicle non-injury accident.
At 8:50 a.m. on Meadow Way two subjects were contacted with open alcohol containers in public.
At 9:15 a.m. on Northwoods Boulevard there was a non-injury collision involving a police department vehicle.
At 4:15 p.m. on Highway 89 police stopped a vehicle after it allegedly ran a red light and arrested the driver for allegedly driving under the influence.
At 6:10 p.m. on Denton Avenue a person reported her ex-boyfriend allegedly leaving her mean text messages.
At 9:30 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police received an anonymous call reporting a possible DUI driver in the downtown area. Police located the vehicle and arrested the driver for driving under the influence of alcohol.
At 10:20 p.m. on Palisades Drive police arrested a person for allegedly driving under the influence.
