TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Below are incidents taken from the Truckee Police Departmentand#8217;s daily press log for Aug. 18-25, in addition to previously unrecorded incidents reported during the time period.

Aug. 18



Cocaine: At 12 a.m. on Union Mills Road a probation officer conducted a search to a subjectand#8217;s residence, where powder cocaine, a snorting device and an illegal knife were found. The probation officer requested a report be forwarded to the probation department so a warrant could be issued.

Vandalism: At 1:30 a.m. on Donner Pass Road an awning was cut by unknown suspects.

Drunk: At 8:57 p.m. on Bridge Street officers arrested a woman found to be too intoxicated to care for herself and was hospitalized, deemed too infirm for booking.

Aug. 19

Drunk: At 12 a.m. on Alley Street woman was found passed out in an alley and was taken to the Nevada County Sheriffand#8217;s Office Jail for public intoxication, released later after she became sober.

Drunk: At 2:15 a.m. on Schaffer Drive a subject was arrested for public intoxication.

Battery: At 7:20 p.m. a juvenile and his mother got into a physical altercation. The juvenile was arrested and taken to juvenile hall.

Aug. 20

Drunk: At 12:19 a.m. on Estates Drive officers arrested a man for public intoxication after finding him sleeping on a residentand#8217;s porch. The subject was booked at the Nevada County Sheriffand#8217;s Office Jail.

Vandalism: At 2:30 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a driver and suspect were inside of the driverand#8217;s vehicle. After leaving the vehicle, the suspect allegedly vandalized the interior door panel.

Vandalism: At 2:30 p.m. on Rue Ivy a vehicle was scratched by an unknown suspect.

Aug. 21

Shoplifting: At 8 p.m. on Donner Pass Road an unknown juvenile entered a store and stole a bottle of alcohol before fleeing. The incident was caught on video, yet no known suspects could be identified.

Shoplifting: At 8:32 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a juvenile was issued a citation for taking a can of beer.

Aug. 22

Drunk: At 8:40 p.m. on Estates Drive an intoxicated subject was arrested after he was found wandering in an apartment complex, knocking on residentand#8217;s doors and asking for a ride to an address he could not identify. The subject did not know where he was and did not know his home address. Officers booked him at the Nevada County Sheriffand#8217;s Office Jail.

Aug. 23

Vandalism: At 12:42 p.m. near the intersection of Henness Road and Edwin Way a town maintenance employee discovered vandalism to a public bus shelter.

Auto burglary: At 7 p.m. on Brockway Road two windows were shattered in a vehicle and items stolen.

Possession: At 7:20 p.m. a subject was contacted and found to have an extraditable warrant out of San Luis Obispo. A search revealed possession of drug paraphernalia. Subject booked at the Nevada County Sheriffand#8217;s Department.

Aug. 24

Embezzlement: At 3:20 p.m. on Donner Pass Road an employee was caught on video taking $100 from a cash register. The employee was cited and released.

Arson: At 9:10 p.m. on Highway 89 South a brush fire was intentionally set on a hillside.
