TRUCKEE, Calif. andamp;#8212; Below are incidents taken from the Truckee Police Departmentandamp;#8217;s daily press log from May 12-19, in addition to previously unrecorded incidents reported during the week.Vehicle accidents: 1Driving Under the Influence: 4May 12Trespass: At 8:40 a.m. on Jibboom Street, a subject was contacted by police while sleeping in a parking lot of a local business. Officers identified the subject and found multiple trespass warnings had been given previously. The subject was arrested and transported to Nevada County Jail without incident.May 13Battery: At 6:30 p.m., a woman had a physical confrontation with her mother, which resulted in her mother suffering minor injuries. The daughter, of adult age, was placed under citizenandamp;#8217;s arrest for battery.May 14Vandalism: At 5:30 p.m. on Pioneer Trail, a victim reported her rear car window had been shattered yet nothing was missing and the car doors were left locked.Burglary: At 1 p.m. on Evansham Place, a juvenile entered a residence without force and took a bag of marijuana without the ownerandamp;#8217;s knowledge or consent.May 15Vandalism: At 12 p.m. on Martis Valley Road, an apartment manager reported graffiti to several fire extinguisher boxes within the apartment complex.Under the influence: At 10:28 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, officers arrested a subject for being under the influence of a controlled substance.May 16Burglary: At 2:45 a.m. on Hillside Drive, a victim reported a rented U-haul dolly was stolen from the garage.Disorderly conduct: At 7:16 p.m. on Estates Drive, officers responded to a report of a fight and arrest a subject for being drunk in public.May 18Assault with deadly weapon: At 2:42 a.m. on Palisades Street, a dispute between a tenant and a landlord led to the tenant assaulting the landlord with a chair.Previously unreported incidents:May 3Burglary: At 1 p.m. on Northwoods Boulevard, unknown suspects forced entry into a residence and stole items.May 10Probation violation: At 3:30 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, a man was arrested after he was found panhandling in an area prohibited to him through his probation clause. The subject was arrested for violation of probation.
