Truckee police logs for Oct. 28 to Nov. 4

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The following are the Truckee Police Logs for the week of Oct. 28 to Nov. 4, with additional reports of past incidents recorded during the week.

Oct. 6

At 7 a.m. on Estates Drive a residential burglary was reported.

Oct. 23

At 12:00 a.m. on Johnson Lane unknown suspects entered a home and stole property.

Oct. 26

At 3 p.m. on Conifer Drive officers responded to an attempted residential burglary after unknown suspects attempted pry open a sliding glass door causing damage to the metal frame.

Oct. 27

At 1:52 a.m. on Deerfield Drive a woman reported a transient male adult entered her business to panhandle and was asked to leave; however, he allegedly returned, and the woman called officers to make a citizen arrest. The transient was booked at Nevada County Jail.

Oct. 28 and#8212; No report

Oct. 29

At 12:10 a.m. at the intersection of Bridge Street and Brockway Road a driver was arrested and booked into Nevada County Jail in Truckee for driving under the influence of alcohol.

At 4:46 p.m. on Union Mills Road two subjects were alleged to be shooting guns at a nearby water tower in a residential area.

At 8 p.m. on Donner Pass Road officers cited a subject for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Oct. 30

At 7 a.m. on Ski Slope Way officers responded to a single vehicle car crash.

At 1 p.m. on Estates Drive a subject reported his vehicle was stolen.

At 1:38 p.m. on Highway 89 South at the North Round About officers responded to a two-vehicle collision. One of the drivers cited for having no insurance.

At 3:37 p.m. on Highway 89 officers pulled a vehicle over for a traffic violation and found one of the passengers had a misdemeanor warrant. The passenger was taken to Nevada County Sheriffand#8217;s Office for booking.

Oct. 31

At 10:26 a.m. at the intersection of Brockway Road and Soaring Way two subjects were reported fighting after one of the subjects threw hot coffee from a vehicle onto the other subject. A fight ensued with one of the subjects assaulting the other with a wrench and another subject attacking the other with a metal coffee mug. No arrests were made.

At 9:59 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a subject was arrested for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

Nov. 1

At 6:30 a.m. on Donner Pass Road a vehicle was hit by an unknown driver who fled the scene.

At 12:09 p.m. on Deerfield Drive officer reported to a vehicle accident after the vehicle left the roadway and drove into an adjacent creek. Officer found the female driver intoxicated, making an arrest, before transporting the her to Tahoe Forest Hospital for a blood draw. The driver was booked at the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office, her vehicle towed and her two dogs taken by animal control.

At 5 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a laptop computer was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Nov. 2

At 10:58 a.m. at the intersection of Brockway Road and Estates Drive a two vehicle were involved in a property damage only collision.

Nov. 3

At 11:30 a.m. on Alder Drive a juvenile was found in possession of marijuana at school, was cited, then released to parents.
