Truckee police logs for week of Nov. 4-10

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Below are incidents taken from the Truckee Police Departmentand#8217;s daily press log from Nov. 4-10, in addition to previously unreported incidents recorded during the week.

Oct. 22

At 9 a.m. on Alder Drive a juvenile was reported to sell a smoking instrument to another juvenile. Officers cited the two and released them to parents.



Nov. 1

At 12 p.m. on Donner Pass Road an employee of a business wrote a company check for rent without the knowledge or approval of the business owner.



Nov. 2

At 8:31 officers responded to a domestic dispute resulting from a love affair. Information was taken only.

Nov. 3

At 2:30 p.m. on Levon Avenue a caller reported a patient had stolen medical equipment during a scheduled appointment.

Nov. 4

At 5 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a victim claimed he was assaulted by his coach. The mother of the victim requested an information report only.

At 10:33 p.m. on West River Street a vehicle was stopped for weaving and officer reported the driver admitted to having a suspended license. The vehicle was impounded for 30 days.

At 10:42 p.m. on Donner Pass Road officers responded to a call of drunkenness and disorderly conduct at a bar. Upon arriving the bar manager reported to officers a subject had been taking drinks off the bar and drinking them. Officer found the subject intoxicated, unable to care for himself and booked him into the Nevada County Jail in Truckee.

Nov. 5

At 1:24 p.m. on Pathway Avenue a husband and wife were involved in a non-violent verbal argument.

Nov. 6

At 12:01 a.m. on Donner Pass Road a suspect entered a home and stole video and gaming items.

At 2:53 p.m. at the intersection of Interstate 80 and Highway 89 officers stopped a driver and found he possessed marijuana in his vehicle. Driver was cited.

Nov. 7

At 3:37 p.m. on Crestview Drive a victim called police to report her ex husband had been calling her repeatedly and has previously been peering inside her windows, visiting her at work, at the childrenand#8217;s school and during church functions. Officer located her ex husband, interviewed him and arrested him for harassment calls and stalking.

Nov. 9

At 3:15 p.m. on Donner Pass Road an unknown subject took a cell phone from a studentand#8217;s bag.
