Truckee police logs include woman allegedly punching man in face for not buying her a drink

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Below is a summary of police reports for the week of Nov. 25-Dec. 2 by the Truckee Police Department.

At 12:30 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police responded to a non-injury collision that occurred on private property.

At 1:35 a.m. on Highway 89 south police investigated a suspicious vehicle and found the occupants allegedly had marijuana.

At 10:50 a.m. on Northwoods Boulevard a vehicle determined to be abandoned was towed.

At 2:50 p.m. on Village Way a subject allegedly pushed another person during a verbal argument. Police arrested the subject for domestic battery and violation of probation.

At 6 p.m. on West River Street an unknown person took gas from a vehicle.

At midnight on Bolzano Way a person reported receiving numerous annoying and harassing phone calls from a family member.

At 2:55 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police interviewed a subject regarding an investigation, and allegedly found the person to be in possession of a falsified resident alien card and social security card. Police arrested the person.

At 12:25 p.m. on Highway 267 a person turned in a cell phone they found along the roadway. Police located the owner.

At 4:55 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a person reported allegedly being punched in the face by an intoxicated female. Police contacted the female and arrested her.

At 4:55 p.m. on Alley Way a person reported two females, possibly intoxicated, walking down the middle of a busy street, yelling at passing cars. One of the females was later reported as allegedly punching a person in the face after he refused to buy her a drink. Both women were contacted and one was arrested for public intoxication and the other for assault and public intoxication.

At 7:35 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police stopped a vehicle for code violations and determined the driver allegedly didn’t have a license. The driver was cited and the vehicle was towed.

At 12:30 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police responded to a reported hit and run vehicle collision in a parking lot.

At 12:40 p.m. on Donner Pass Road two high school students allegedly got into a fight. Both were cited and released to parents.

At 4:20 p.m. on Donner Trail two people were seen doing a hand-to-hand exchange. One subject saw police and allegedly fled on foot. The second subject was contacted and allegedly had a small amount of cocaine. That subject was arrested, and the other later located.

At 4:20 p.m. on Bishop Pine Road Nevada County probation requested an officer verify that a juvenile was in compliance with probation terms. The juvenile, on house arrest, wasn’t home, and therefore in violation.

At 10:10 p.m. on Interstate 80 police stopped a vehicle for violations and found the driver to allegedly be under the influence.

At 1:35 a.m. on Highway 267 police stopped a vehicle for code violations and found the driver to allegedly be under the influence of alcohol.
