TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Below are incidents taken from the Truckee Police Departmentand#8217;s daily press log from May 19-26, in addition to previously unrecorded incidents reported during the week.

Accident: 4
Unlicensed driver: 1
May 19
Marijuana: At 10:57 a.m. on Deerfield Drive a small amount of marijuana was found in a bus shelter and turned in for destruction.
May 20
Fighting: At 7 a.m. on Martis Valley Road a man reported he was involved in a physical altercation with one of his neighbors. The man did not seek prosecution, but that the incident be documented fearing future retaliation. An incident report was taken.
Shoplifting: At 2:55 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a loss prevention officer detained a subject for shoplifting. The subject was cited and released by police.
Battery: At 11:16 a.m. on the west end of Donner Pass Road a woman reported being thrown out of a moving vehicle yet refused meet with police. However, in a phone call with officers later she said she had not been thrown out of a moving vehicle but had been pushed into a vehicle and was not injured. A report was taken by police.
Vandalism: At 10 p.m. on Ramshorn Street an unknown suspect broke a victimand#8217;s car tail light and dented his carand#8217;s side panel. Later, a known suspect assaulted the victim at his residence. A report was taken.
May 21
Vandalism: At 2:30 a.m. on Rue Ivy a victim reported an unknown suspect had keyed the victimand#8217;s car and punched the roof in, causing a dent to the vehicle. No suspect information was obtained and an informational report was taken.
Shoplifting: At 7:42 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a loss prevention officer placed a woman under citizenand#8217;s arrest after observing the woman shoplift. The woman was cited and released.
Vandalism: At 4 a.m. on Worchester Circle a home was egged by unknown suspects.
May 22
Shoplifting: At 1:24 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a loss prevention officer detained a woman for stealing flowers. Police cited and released the woman for shoplifting.
Unreported incidents
March 15
Burglary: At 12:30 p.m. on Ute Drive a home had been broken into and a roll of duct tape reported stolen from the garage.
March 22
Burglary: At 12 a.m. on Swiss Lane an unoccupied residence was burglarized.
May 23
Defecating in Public: At 7:30 a.m. on Brockway Road a man was seen defecating in a public parking lot. A citizenand#8217;s complaint was signed and the subject was cited and released.
May 24
Shoplifting: At 2 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a female juvenile was cited and released for attempting to steal alcohol. The juvenile was released to her parents by police.
Intoxication: At 10:43 p.m. on a subject was taken into custody for public intoxication.
