Truckee Police logs, Sept. 4-11

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Below are select incidents from the Truckee Police Departmentand#8217;s press log for Sept. 4-11, along with previously unreported incidents.

July 8

and#8226; Officers took a report of harassing calls made from a family member. The family requested a documentation only as the suspect is in Southern California.

August 31

and#8226; A reporting party reported finding funds being withdrawn out of her checking account without her permission. The transactions were made by an unknown person and were fraudulent.

September 2

and#8226; Two intoxicated females got into a verbal argument that escalated to one of the females was battered by the other. The female sustained a swollen eye. The incident occurred on Snow Peak Way. A battery report was forwarded to the District Attorneyand#8217;s Office for a review.

September 4

and#8226; A transient had an open fire on private land without obtaining a proper permit. The subject was given a Truckee Police Department citation and was released at the scene for the fire.

and#8226; Officers transported a subject to a local hospital for high level of intoxication. Later the subject was identified as a juvenile male on Nevada County probation. The juvenile was cited and released to the parents.

and#8226; A male subject was contacted in a parking lot on Donner Pass Road and was determined to be intoxicated. The subject was arrested and booked into Nevada County Jail.

and#8226; A subject was cited and released for shoplifting from a local business on Donner Pass Road.

and#8226; Officers located marijuana grow inside a residence on Olympic Drive. The case was forwarded to District Attorneyand#8217;s Office.

September 5

and#8226; A suspect and a victim were involved in a road rage incident. After the incident, the suspect called the victim on his cellphone several times and threatened him. Officers contacted the suspect and he admitted calling the victim; officers advised the suspect to cease contact.

September 6

and#8226; Police officers were dispatched to scene of traffic collision on Donner Pass Road. Officers located the vehicle into a ditch and the driver was still in it. The driver showed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested for DUI.

September 7

and#8226; A juvenile was cited and released to parents after being found in possession of marijuana and alcohol.

and#8226; A subject under the influence of a controlled substance punched, threw a rock and kicked a vehicle causing damage. The subject was arrested for felony vandalism and being under the influence of controlled substance. The incident occurred on West River Street.

September 8

and#8226; A husband and a wife got into a verbal argument on Skislope Way. Truckee Police officers responded to the residence and mediated the situation and determined there was no crime. A report for domestic disturbance was taken for documentation purposes only.

and#8226; An intoxicated female was arrested for public intoxication on Donner Pass Road at High Street.

September 10

and#8226; Officers took a report of rollover collision on Glenshire Drive. Only one vehicle was involved, where the driver suffered minor injuries.
