Truckee police logs, week of Dec. 2-9

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Below are incidents taken from the Truckee Police Departmentand#8217;s daily press log from Dec. 2-9 , in addition to previously unreported incidents recorded during the week.

Dec. 1

Vandalism: At 12 p.m. a vehicle was reported vandalized.



Dec. 3

Probation Violation: At 9:45 a.m. on Loch Levon Avenue a suspect showed up to a probation appointment allegedly under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for breaking the terms of probation.



Auto Burglary: At 11 a.m. on Coldstream Road an unknown suspect(s) gained entry into a locked vehicle, removing property.

Graffiti: At 6 p.m. on Brockway Road graffiti was reported.

Dec. 4

Recovered vehicle: At 4:27 a.m. on Donner Pass road a vehicle was recovered that was reported stolen in Reno.

DUI: At 12:03 p.m. a citizen reported a driver had allegedly collided with her vehicle while at a gas station but caused no damage. The driver fled the scene only to return as officers were arriving. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence and without a valid drivers license.

Petty theft: At 3:23 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a juvenile was cited for petty theft.

Dec. 09

Truancy: Father reported his daughter had ran away with her boyfriend. Officers located the daughter near her apartment and returned her to her parents.

Traffic accidents: 4 vehicle accidents appeared on the log, with no major injuries.
