Truckee police logs, week of Sept. 16-23
TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The following are Truckee Police reports from the week of Sept. 16-23.
At 3 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a suspect allegedly entered a business and stole property.
At 8:50 a.m. on Donner Pass Road a suspect was issued a misdemeanor citation for sale a violation of probation.
At 11:46 a.m. on China Camp Road an unknown subject listed the reporting parties property for sale on eBay.
At 5:21 a.m. on Deerfield Drive two subjects were reported to have shoplifted.
At 3:12 a.m. a subject claimed to be a victim of a sexual crime; however, an investigation revealed the incident was reported falsely.
At 4:20 a.m. at the intersection of West River Street and Brockway Road the driver of a car fled the scene after colliding with a pole, leaving the car behind.
At 11:45 on Royal Crest Road a juvenile did not to return to parents when told to come home.
At 1:44 on Donner Pass Road a suspect removed a satellite radio from a victimand#8217;s car.
At 3:20 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a victim reported that heand#8217;d been assaulted by his brother in law. Officers found that the victim had moderate injuries and located the suspect.
At 10 a.m. on Coldstream Road a subject was stopped for carrying a concealed firearm inside his vehicle.
At 1 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a officer were alerted a theft of about $820 in electronics and stolen cash. Upon arriving at the scene officers found that there were no signs of forced entry.
At 3:20 p.m. on Donner Pass Road officials reported an argument between a child and a parent inside an office. The report was documented and forwarded to child protective services.
At 11 p.m. on Snowshoe Circle a victim reported he had been assaulted by his landlordand#8217;s ex-husband and that the landlordand#8217;s son had vandalized his vehicle.
At 9:26 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a juvenile was stopped for erratic driving and cited for driving without a license. Officers released him to his mother. The vehicle was towed.
At 2:19 a.m. on Interstate 80 a driver was stopped for erratic driving. The driver was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.
At 9:01 a.m. on Estates Drive a driver was cited for failing to yield prior to entering a roadway. The driver did not have a license, was cited, and the vehicle towed.
At 12 p.m. on Indian Jack Road at the Old Forest Service Camp broken windows at a well pump house was reported.
At 10:16 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a driver was stopped for a traffic infraction. Officers found the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and booked at Nevada County Jail.
At 2 p.m. a victim called to report she was being harassed by a waitress after leaving a review on a Internet restaurant website.
