Truckee police logs, weeks of Nov. 17-Dec. 2

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Below are incidents taken from the Truckee Police Department’s daily press log from Nov. 17 – Dec. 2, in addition to previously unreported incidents recorded during the week.

Past incidents

June 1:



Residential burglary: At 6 a.m. on Estates Drive a victim reported someone had entered his bedroom numerous times to remove property.

Oct. 27



Residential burglary: At 12 p.m. on Skislope Way electronics were stolen from a home.

Sept. 6

At 12 a.m. a victim reported credit card fraud.

Nov. 17

Petty theft: At 8:31 a.m. on Pioneer Trail Road items were stolen from several unlocked cars.

Concealing/Receiving stolen property: At 9:43 a.m. on Alder Drive officers cited three juveniles for stealing and selling an iPod. The iPod was recovered and returned.

Possession of narcotics: At 1:14 p.m. on Donner Pass road officers detained a subject for shoplifting and later found the subject allegedly in possession of cocaine. Subject was arrested and transported to Nevada County Sheriffand#8217;s Office for booking.

Shoplifting: At 6:22 p.m. on Donner Pass Road loss prevention agents placed a suspect under citizens arrest after the subject allegedly attempted to steal various items. Officers took him to the Nevada County Sheriffand#8217;s Office for booking.

Arson: At 7:01 p.m. on Tahoe Drive both Truckee police and fire services were dispatched to a fully engulfed residential structure fire.

Nov. 18

Marijuana possession: At 12:30 p.m. on Pioneer Trail Road officers cited a juvenile for having less than an ounce of marijuana.

Shoplifting: At 4 p.m. officers cited two juveniles for shoplifting.

Criminal threats: At 1:17 p.m. on Trout Creek Road a father and his son signed a citizenand#8217;s arrest against their neighborand#8217;s son after the neighborand#8217;s son allegedly made threats of physical harm toward the fatherand#8217;s son. Officerand#8217;s cited and released the neighborand#8217;s son.

Disorderly conduct: At 8:35 p.m. on Brockway Road officers arrested a subject for being drunk in public after he allegedly walked into the officersand#8217; vehicle.

Petty theft: At 5:10 p.m. on Pioneer Trail an unknown suspect stole an iPod radio transmitter from an unlocked car.

Nov. 19

Domestic dispute: At 4:53 p.m. on Pioneer Trail officers responded to an alleged domestic dispute between a girl and her boyfriend.

Grand Theft: At 5:30 p.m. on Stuart Staithe Road various items were taken from unlocked vehicles.

Nov. 20

Warrant: At 9:42 a.m. on Estates Drive a subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

Nov. 22

Shoplifting: At 11:51 a.m. on Donner Pass Road loss prevention services detained a subject for allegedly shoplifting.

Domestic dispute: At 9 p.m. on Sherbourne Court officers responded to an alleged domestic dispute between a mother and her daughter.

Nov. 23

Bodily injury: At 3 p.m. on Martis road officers arrested and jailed a subject after he allegedly inflicted bodily injury on his girlfriend.

Domestic dispute: At 3:07 on Madrone Lane officers responded to a domestic dispute.

Threats: A subject reported her soon to be ex-husband had allegedly threatened her but required no action be taken only that the incident be documented.

Nov. 26

Domestic dispute: At 6:40 p.m. on Donner Pass Road officers recorded a alleged domestic dispute between a woman and her husband.

Nov. 27

Disorderly contact: At 1 a.m. on Donner Pass Road officers arrested a suspect for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after the subject was found allegedly urinating in public.

Bodily injury: At 9:30 a.m on Waters Way officers arrested a subject after the subject allegedly inflicted bodily injury on the subjectand#8217;s partner by hitting the victim in the face.

Nov. 28

Bodily injury: At 8:30 p.m. on Palisade Street a father was arrested by officers for allegedly being involved in a physical altercation with his daughter resulting in minor injuries. Nevada County Child Protective Services was notified and the mother took custody of the daughter.

Shoplifting: At 12:25 p.m. on Donner Pass Road officers booked a subject for shoplifting.

Dec. 1

Disorderly conduct: At 2 a.m. on Donner Pass Road officers arrested a man for public drunkenness at a bar after he allegedly passed out on the bathroom floor.

Dec. 2

Petty theft: At 12:30 p.m. on Donner Pass Road officers arrested a subject for alleged petty theft.

Traffic accidents: Within the police logs there were numerous traffic accidents and vehicle related incidents. Below is a tally from the two-week period, and unreported incidents later recorded within the two weeks.

Towed/stored vehicle: 5

Accidents/accident damage reports: 13

Obstructing snow removal: 6

Unlicensed drivers: 3
