August 5

At 9 p.m. on Skislope Way, police received reports that two sets of golf clubs had been stolen from an open garage.



August 6

At 7:05 p.m. on Brockway Road, officers contacted a subject on probation who was found to be in possession of alcohol and marijuana. The subject, who is under the age of 21, also had alcohol in his system. The probation officer was contacted and the subject was taken into custody.



At 9:15 p.m. on Iris Road, police contacted and arrested a subject for an outstanding felony warrant.

August 7

At 1:25 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, police stopped a vehicle for expired registration tags and for driving over a double yellow line. The driver was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.

At 2:40 a.m. on Glenshire Drive, police received reports that a subject broke into a business during the night, stealing a cash box and several items. The investigation is ongoing.

At 3:50 a.m. on Interstate 80 and Highway 89 south, police located a vehicle on the freeway that was traveling approximately one to two miles per hour. Officers subsequently found the driver to be asleep at the wheel and determined that the vehicle had been stolen in Sacramento. The woman was a seven-time convicted felon who was under the influence of drugs. She was arrested for auto theft and driving under the influence of drugs.

At 5 p.m. on Brockway Road, police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and subsequently arrested the driver for driving under the influence.

August 8

At 2:10 a.m. on Estates Drive, police stopped a vehicle for erratic driving and arrested the driver for driving under the influence.

At 2:20 a.m. on Palisades Drive, police stopped a vehicle for erratic driving and found the driver to the under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested and his vehicle was impounded due to the fact that he was unlicensed.

August 9

At 1:50 a.m. on Brockway Road, police stopped a vehicle for a code violation and subsequently arrested the driver for driving under the influence.

At 5 p.m. on Deerfield Drive, an unknown suspect spray painted graffiti on several walls, an electric box and a propane tank.

At 5 p.m. on Brockway Road, police received reports of extensive tagging to the men’s restroom near the playground. The estimated damage was $500 and the graffiti appeared to be gang related.

August 10

At 2:55 p.m. on Glenshire Drive, police received reports of a male subject walking in a roadway. The subject was contacted and found to be intoxicated and he was arrested.

At 6:40 p.m. on East River Street, upon investigating a hit-and-run collision, officers determined the suspect driver had been driving under the influence. Police located, arrested and booked the subject.

At 7:30 p.m. on Brockway Road, police cited a minor for possession of alcohol.

At 9:20 p.m. on Brockway Road, police found a juvenile intoxicated and vomiting in the park. The juvenile was arrested for disorderly conduct, was given a juvenile citation and was released to his father.

At 9:25 p.m. on Brockway Road, police contacted a female juvenile who had fallen and hit her head. Medical personnel examined her and discovered she did not have an injury. She was subsequently arrested for public intoxication and was released to a parent.

August 11

At 10 a.m. on Levon Avenue, police arrested a subject for a local felony warrant.

August 12

At 12:50 a.m. on Interstate 80, police stopped a vehicle for erratic driving and subsequently arrested the driver for driving under the influence of drugs.

At 1:30 a.m. on Jacobs Court, police contacted a subject after receiving reports that the subject had been walking around a residence during the night with a flashlight. The subject was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance, for possession of a destructive device and for child endangerment.

At 8:30 p.m. on Old Highway Drive, police received reports from a victim that her husband had punched her in the face and tore the phone cord out of the wall so she could not dial 911. The subject fled the scene before officers arrived, but was located and arrested minutes later for felony domestic violence.

At 9:40 p.m. on Jibboom Street, police stopped a vehicle for a code violation and subsequently found a juvenile passenger to be in possession of marijuana. The juvenile was cited and released to his parents.
