Truckee Police Reports: Sept. 5 – 9, 2008

The following were taken from Town of Truckee Police logs, Sept. 5 through Sept. 9

Sept. 5

At 6:45 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, police responded to a road rage incident where an alleged firearm was brandished between a suspect and a victim. Upon investigation, officers discovered the alleged weapon to be a toy wooden gun.



Sept. 8

At 6:50 a.m. on West River Street, police received reports that a deceased subject had been located by a co-worker in a storage garage. The case was turned over to the coroner.



At 5 p.m. on East Alder Creek Drive, police received reports that a juvenile had been the victim of a battery that occurred the previous night at a school function. A report was taken and forwarded to the school’s resource officer.

At 6 p.m. on West River Street, officers responded to a verbal argument between two subjects. No injuries were sustained and a report was taken for information only.

At 6:40 p.m. on River Street, police received reports that two subjects were fighting in the middle of the street. Upon contact, it was determined to be a mutual combat situation. One subject, who was on parole, used a fraudulent driver’s license and name to identify himself and was arrested for several charges.

Sept. 9

At 4:20 p.m. on Brockway Road, police received reports that an unknown subject had vandalized a vehicle.

At 11:50 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, police arrested a female for public intoxication.
