Truckee police reports, week of July 21-28
TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The following are Truckee Police reports from the week of July 21-28.
At 1 p.m. on Bridge Street police responded to a non-injury vehicle accident.
At 11:50 a.m. on Highway 267 police responded to a three-vehicle traffic collision with complaint of pain.
At 9:15 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police arrested a person involved in a collision for allegedly driving under the influence.
At 10:50 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a person allegedly violated the terms of his probation.
At 12:20 a.m. on Alder Creek Road police stopped a vehicle for code violations and arrested the driver for allegedly driving under the influence. The driver was subsequently released.
At 1:05 p.m. on Spring Lane a person found an unopened bottle of vodka in his yard. Police recovered the bottle and returned it to the store it was taken from the previous night.
At 2:30 p.m. on Village Way police took a report regarding the violation of a court order.
At 3:30 p.m. on Glenshire Drive police stopped a vehicle for a moving violation and found the driver to have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Police cited and released the driver with a new court date.
At 5 p.m. on South Shore Drive a person reported the theft of a kayak from the dock at the rear of her residence.
At 7:20 p.m. on Old Highway Road police responded to an alleged physical fight between family members.
At 10:15 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police responded to a vehicle accident with no injuries.
At 1:35 p.m. on Deerfield Drive police filed a report regarding a domestic dispute between a live-in boyfriend and girlfriend.
At 7:40 p.m. on Chelmsford Circle police stopped a vehicle for a code violation and arrested the driver for allegedly driving under the influence.
At 12:45 a.m. on Donner Pass Road a subject involved in a minor physical altercation was arrested for alleged public intoxication.
At 1:20 a.m. on Donner Pass Road police arrested a person for being intoxicated in public after allegedly urinating in public.
At 4:50 a.m. on Rue Ivy an unknown person allegedly entered a second floor apartment through an open kitchen window. The resident confronted the subject, who fled the scene.
At 7:30 a.m. on Church Street an unknown person allegedly destroyed the right front passenger window of a vehicle and stole an iPod.
At 8 p.m. on Interstate 80 a person reported he was struck by his wife during an argument but wanted no action taken. Dispatch gathered enough information to locate the wife and officers arrested her for alleged domestic violence.
At midnight on Rainbow Court an unknown subject or subjects gained access to another personand#8217;s checking account to obtain cable services.
At noon on Jeffrey Pine Road a person reported his front license plate fell off his vehicle.
At 5 p.m. on Deerfield Drive a person reported a bicycle stolen.
At 10:25 p.m. on Dorchester Drive an unknown person allegedly pried open a window and removed a door latch lock, but it did not appear that anything was taken from the building.
At midnight on West River Street a person reported over the last several days an unknown person had been breaking in and sleeping in several different vehicles. Police located the subject sleeping in a vehicle and arrested the person.
At 11:25 a.m. on Dorchester Drive a person was placed under citizenand#8217;s arrest after she was seen allegedly keying another personand#8217;s car.
At 1:30 p.m. on Keiser Street police located a person allegedly driving on a suspended license. The driver was cited and the vehicle towed.
At 9 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a person reported a possible drunk driver. Police located and arrested the driver for allegedly driving under the influence.
At 5 p.m. on Briar Circle a person reported the theft of his hammock from his back yard.
At 10 a.m. on Beacon Road an unknown subject or subjects spray painted graffiti on the street.
At 11:10 a.m. on Sitzmark Way police received a 911 call regarding a crashed bicyclist. Upon arrival, the cyclist claimed that inattention and obstructions in the roadway contributed to the crash.
At 2 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police had a vehicle towed they determined to be abandoned.
At 10 p.m.. on Brockway Road police contacted a subject hiding in a vehicle and cited the person for possession of marijuana.
