Truckee police reports, week of March 31 to April 7

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; The following are reports from the Truckee Police Department for the week of March 31 to April 7.

March 31

At 8:30 a.m. on Skislope Way police received reports of a vehicle accident, reported for information only.

April 1

At 9:40 p.m. on Donner Pass Road a person reported a vehicle being stolen. Police determined it to be a civil issue with no crime committed.

April 2

At 12:45 a.m. on Martis Valley Road police responded to a verbal argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend.

At 1:45 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police responded to a non-injury collision in a parking lot, and found a driver was allegedly unlicensed.

April 3

At 9:25 a.m. on Alder Creek Road police responded to a vehicle parked in the roadway, blocking traffic. Police couldnand#8217;t locate the owner, and the vehicle was towed.

At 6:40 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police responded to a fire in a residence allegedly started from a grow light for a marijuana grow. The occupant had a doctorand#8217;s recommendation for the marijuana.

At 8:10 p.m. on Donner Pass Road police stopped a vehicle for code violations and arrested the driver for allegedly driving under the influence.

April 4

At 12:40 a.m. on Deerfield Drive police responded to a subject allegedly vandalizing a vehicle, resulting in a broken car window.

April 5

At 10 a.m. on Brockway Road a person called police reporting annoying/harassing telephone calls from a former employee.

At 9:20 p.m. on Donner Pass Road an anonymous person called in a vehicle which they believed was being driven by someone under the influence of alcohol. Police located and arrested the driver.

At 9:30 a.m. on Henness Road police received reports of an unknown person allegedly breaking into a restroom, doing damage and removing items.

At 10:05 p.m. on Hirschdale Road police responded to a big rig that got stuck on the railroad tracks and collided with a railroad crossing armature.

At 11:05 p.m. on Interstate 80 police stopped a vehicle for a broken tail light and arrested the driver for allegedly being under the influence.

April 6

At 9:15 a.m. on Highway 89 south police stopped a vehicle for code violations and the driver allegedly consented to a search. Police allegedly located a collapsible metal baton, which was confiscated.

At 4:20 p.m. on West River Street police arrested a person for alleged public intoxication.

At 10:10 p.m. on Brockway Road police arrested a person for allegedly driving under the influence.

At 10:30 p.m. on Brockway Road police responded to a verbal argument between husband and wife where the husband allegedly hung up and unplugged the phone after the wife had dialed 911. Police arrested the male subject.

April 7

At 3:30 p.m. on Olympic Drive a person reported two women in the middle of the street in a physical fight. Police contacted the women and arrested one for domestic violence. After the arrest police searched the woman and allegedly found a small amount of methamphetamine, syringes, methamphetamine pipes and marijuana.

At 10:35 p.m. on St. Albans Place a parent reported their child as a runaway. Police located and returned the child home.
