Truckee Tahoe event management is CRUX’s niche
After 20 years of producing high profile events at venues around the world, CRUX Events has returned to its Northern California roots in Truckee, with a sharp focus on distinctive event management and equipment rental.
“While on this journey we have acquired a tremendous amount of high- quality equipment,” explains event management veteran James Woodruff. “It is time to offer it up our to friends and visitors in Lake Tahoe and surrounding areas.”
The company’s impressive client roster includes such well-known brands as Red Bull, Jeep, Merrill Lynch and VISA. CRUX has also provided its event management expertise to such events as The Winter X Games and the Red Bull Air Races. Equally at ease in the broadcast arena, CRUX has been a key player in the coverage on CBS Sports, NBC Sports, ABC and ESPN. The company’s core offerings include event production, live television operations, hospitality, music production and event marketing; and now event party rentals for a the regional market.
“It’s a win-win situation,” Woodruff says. “We can offer amazing equipment that has not been available in our area. Importantly, we can lower our carbon footprint, hire local talent and at night go home to our wives and children.”
CRUX distinguishes itself by offering a virtual Pandora’s box of rental equipment, which includes unique decor, furniture and elegant tents. The inventory also features complimentary systems such as state-of-the-art lighting and sound, staging and audio-visual solutions.
Woodruff acknowledges visualizing a special event ” be it a simple backyard barbecue or an elegant lakeside wedding ” can be challenging. To assist his clients in visualizing the services, CRUX Events offers computer-generated three-dimensional imagery of the event space.
“What really sets us apart is our foundation of strategic event management experience. If we can oversee all the high-level event details at the Winter X Games, we can definitely pull off a seamless event for 200 people,” said Woodruff.
