Truckee Tahoe Medical Group expands Urgent Care
TRUCKEE, Calif. — Beginning June 1, Truckee Tahoe Medical Group will offer expanded access Urgent Care and walk-in appointments.
This expansion at the Truckee office will allow patients faster access to care and less waiting because of the increased availability, according to a news release.
TTMG’s Truckee office space has also expanded, seeing Urgent Care patients in its first floor office in Suite 110, and some scheduled patients in the Medical Office Building across from Tahoe Forest Hospital.
“We want to be a medical home for Truckee and North Tahoe,” Dr. Reini Jensen, TTMG physician, said in a statement. “The community knows us and trusts us. And when people are sick or injured, we want to be available.”
TTMG Urgent Care has on-site x-ray, casting and splinting, according to the news release. Its primary care team also offers family medicine for all ages, including EKG/stress testing, sports medicine, bone density scanning and immunizations.
TTMG, which opened in 1959, contracts with most insurance plans, according to the practice.
Its Truckee office is located at 10956 Donner Pass Road. TTMG also has a Tahoe City clinic at 925 North Lake Blvd., open daily in the summer, and one at Squaw Valley ski resort, open daily during ski season.
