Truckee-Tahoe weather: Half-inch of snow possible tonight
Snow showers could happen tonight and early next week, the National Weather Service said.
Today will be mostly sunny, with highs around 45. Winds will be 5 to 10 mph this afternoon.
Scattered snow showers are possible after 10 p.m., with under a half-inch of accumulation expected. Lows will drop to 19.
It’ll be sunny for the rest of the week.
Thursday’s highs will reach 35. Winds will be 10 to 15 mph, with 30 mph gusts possible. Lows will dip to 15 that night.
Friday’s highs will reach 52, Saturday’s will hit 51, and Sunday’s will make it to 49. Lows will be in the 20s all three nights.
Monday will be partly sunny, with highs around 52. There’s a chance of showers that night, with rain and snow showers possible Tuesday.
