Truckee-Tahoe weather: Windy this week, then cooler temps

The Truckee-Tahoe area will be windy through Thursday, with temperatures slowly starting to dip once they calm, the National Weather Service said.

It’ll be sunny to mostly sunny through the week.

Today’s high will hit 77. Lows will settle around 43 tonight, and winds will be 5 to 10 mph.



Wednesday’s highs will reach 80. Winds will be 5 to 10 mph, with 20 mph gusts possible day and night. Lows will land at 49 that night.

Thursday’s high will climb to 73. Winds will be 5 to 15 mph, with 25 mph gusts possible. Lows will dip to 43 that night, and winds will be 10 to 15 mph, with 30 mph gusts possible.



Highs will reach 66 on Friday, 63 on Saturday, and 60 on Sunday. There’s a slight chance of showers Sunday night.

Memorial Day highs will get to 66.
