Truckee utility asks interim director to stay on
Sierra Sun
The Truckee Donner Public Utility District has selected a new general manager, but the board of directors will request an extension of the interim manager’s employment at Wednesday’s meeting.
John Ulrich, the district’s temporary manager, has agreed to remain employed on a full-time basis through Feb. 8, and as needed through June 30 to assist the district’s newly hired general manager, Michael D. Holley, with the transition.
The board selected Holley to follow Peter Holzmeister, who retired in August after 23 years with the district.
Holley will serve as general manager starting Jan. 14, and brings 24 years of experience in utility management to the district.
